As the El Paso community continues to heal from the horrific events of the August 3rd shooting, area agencies continue to provide services to those affected.
El Paso United Family Resiliency Center
The El Paso United Family Resiliency Center is a place of healing and support dedicated to serving as a resource to those directly and indirectly impacted by the tragedy of August 3, 2019.
The El Paso United FRC connects individuals with:
- Counseling referrals
- Non-traditional therapies
- Support services for specialized populations
- Education on reducing mental health stigmas
Emergence Health Network
Emergence Health Network is now operating its Community Recovery Center specially developed to address the mental health needs of borderland residents following the tragic event on August 3, 2019. This center is for families and individuals who need a safe space or who would like to speak to a behavioral health professional with concerns regarding the shooting and its aftermath.
Walk in’s welcome. No appointment necessary but recommended. Counseling provided free of charge.

FBI - Victim Services
If you were injured in or witnessed the August 3 event, you may be eligible for certain services and rights, including special funding to provide emergency assistance, crime victim compensation, and counseling.

Free counseling and support services for anyone in the community affected by the recent tragedy. Workshops and counseling services available for organizations, companies, and individuals.

The District Attorney’s Office provides information, assistance and support to victims of crime. Assist with with filling and sending the Texas Crime Victim’s Compensation Program application for victims in need of support.

Office of the Texas Attorney General - Crime Victim Services
The Crime Victims’ Compensation Program helps crime victims and their immediate families with the financial costs of crime. The program covers crime-related costs such as counseling, medical treatment, funerals, and loss of income not paid by other sources.
